The Star Focusing filter from Benro is a night time focusing aid that provides accurate focus on points of illumination in low-light circumstances. This rotating aluminium ring attaches to standard 82mm filter threads on any type of lens. The special pattern design makes the diffraction of the light source easier to capture for increased accuracy. Using manual focus, preset the focus by adjusting it until the star pattern elements converge, then remove the focusing tool and shoot with confidence that the desired focus point is correctly set.
