The Megadap Leica M Lens to Nikon Z-Mount Autofocus Adapter permits a Leica M-mount lens to be used on a Nikon Z-mount digital camera, in essence converting the manual lens into an autofocus lens. It features electronic contacts that employs the camera's phase detection to determine the focus point, supporting Single Shot AF (AF-S), Continuous AF (AF-C), and Servo AF (AF-F) modes, as well as AF-area, Single-point AF, Wide-area AF, and Auto-area AF.

This adapter is designed with a circular extension structure to support heavier lenses and withstand prolonged use. it also incorporates a 6.5mm bayonet extension that is longer most manual lenses' focus throw and gives the lens a wide focusing range. Additional Z-mount adapters can be mounted on the adapter and an integrated micro USB port allows for firmware updates.
