Updated with a 23MP sensor, a new G2 chip design, and other upgraded features, the GoPro HERO10 Black outperforms its predecessor in speed, performance, responsiveness and functionality.

This sharp-shooting action camera can now capture impressive, high detail 23MP photos and a 5.3K video resolution at 60fp for amazingly smooth motion. You can even pause the 5.3K video to grab 15.8Mp still photos. Furthermore, there is a 8x slow-motion at 2.7K. The powerful new G2 engine is a "system on a chip", offering fast performance and responsive touch controls as well as doubling the frame rate. An upgraded, larger 1.4" front display is no longer merely a status informaiton display but a more generously-sized screen to offer a live view that allows you to frame shots for vlogging and similar uses. Also, aiding in producing even smoother, more stable videos, without the use of gimbals, is a new HyperSmooth 4.0 image stabilisation with in-camera horizon levelling.

HERO10 Black, with its immense feature set, can now be used as a webcam and for 1080p Full HD live streaming. A GoPro subscription enables connection to the cloud with unlimited storage to allow your footage to be uploaded to unlimited cloud storage while you are shooting. Just plug in your camera when connected to your home Wi-Fi and the camera does the rest. Once uploaded, you can also transfer your videos and photos from the cloud to your phone wirelessly via the Quik app or through a fast wired connection via USB 3.1 Gen 1.

The rugged HERO10 action camera can is designed to be waterproof down to 10m without the help of an external housing. An optional dive housing can be purchased for deeper dives. The HERO10 also comes with a new, scratch-resistant, water-shedding hydrophobic lens covers provides more protection and help to repel water as well as eliminate lens flare and other artifacts for sharper, higher contrast and more accurate images, even in low light. These upgraded or new features ride on top of the many other powerful features of the previous HERO cameras. The suite of Power Tools are available in HERO10. This includes HindSight, which, when activated, records 30s of video prior to you hitting the record button so that you will not miss an important or unexpected moment and LiveBurst, which captures 1.5s before and other your shot. Other features that remain consistent include a large 2.3" rear touchscreen with touch zoom, audio capture, looping video, data overlats, a 100Mb/s bit rate, three microphones with advanced wind noise reduction, Protune features with professional video and audio settings, 14 voice commands, and much more. As with some previous models, this camera allows you to switch into portrait mode to capture images in the format ideal for social media platforms such as Instagram.

The HERO10 comes supplied with a 1720mAh rechargeable Li-Ion battery to power the camera for longer, a curved adhesive mount, a mounting buckle plus thumbscrew, a USB Type-C cable, and a carry case. To further expand the functionality of your HERO10 Black to suit your specific purposes, you can attach it to a large series of mounting accessories via the built-in, flip out 2-prong mount on the bottom of the camera. A range of optional add-on mods are available, such as the Max Lens Mode, which permits an addition of an ultrawide 155° angle of view for the widest-ever field of view on a HERO camera plus assists in HyperSmooth stabilisation.
