The Sony VG-C4EM Vertical Grip is designed especially for Sony Alpha a7R IV and a9 II mirrorless cameras to provide a more comfortable hold in the vertical orientation, along with extended battery. The grip has the capacity for one or two NP-FZ100 batteries for longer battery life during prolonged shooting. Conveniently, the batteries can be charged in the attached grip via the camera bodys USB port. To ensure a seamless switch between using and not using the grip, the physical design of the grip maintains the same layout as the camera body, whilst a secondary shutter button and Multi Selector are included to provide for intuitive use. In addition, the magnesium alloy grip is dust- and moisture-resistant to match the weather sealing of the cameras.
