The M.Zuiko Digital ED 25mm f/1.2 PRO lens from Olympus is a 50mm equivalent focal length lens designed for use with Micro Four Thirds mirrorless cameras. With a bright maximum aperture of f/1.2, it is well-suited to working in low-light conditions and with selective focus techniques. Its advanced optical design uses a 19 elements, 14 groups construction and incorporates one Super Extra-Low Dispersion element, two extra-low dispersion elements, one Extra High Refractive Index element, three high refractive index elements, and one aspherical element, to significantly reduce both spherical and chromatic aberrations for notable image clarity, sharpness, and accurate colour. A nine-blade aperture produces a smooth out of focus bokeh quality when working with shallow depth of field. This is complimented by a weather-sealed construction that guards against dust and moisture, for peace of mind when working in changeable weather conditions. It also features a Movie & Stills Compatible (MSC) autofocus system for fast, smooth and near-silent focusing performance that is suitable for both stills and video recording. A manual focus clutch allows quick switching to MF control and a printed depth of field scale is also featured on the lens barrel for pre-focusing and hyperfocal focusing techniques.
