The Voigtlander Nokton 42.5mm f/0.95 Micro Four Thirds Lens is a bright, fast, manual focus portrait-length lens that provides a 35mm-equivalent focal length of 85mm when used on Micro Four Thirds mirrorless cameras. It features a Selective Aperture Control System, making it possible to de-click the aperture control ring for smooth and silent stepless control, ideal for recording video. The optical construction includes one Super High Refractive element as well as one aspherical element to minimise chromatic aberrations for notable clarity and sharpness. An extremely bright and fast maximum aperture of f/0.95 makes it ideally suited to working in low-light conditions and with shallow depth of field techniques. Ten aperture blades form a nearly circular diaphragm in order to produce pleasing out of focus bokeh areas, and a minimum focusing distance of 23cm supports working with close-up subject matter.
