The Voigtlander APO-SKOPAR 90mm f/2.8 VM lens is a manual focus medium telephoto lens optimised for full-frame M-mount image sensors. Sporting a new designed optical system, this lens uses abnormal partial dispersion glass for five out of seven elements in seven groups to provide images that are enriched, are sharp and display a three dimensional character. In addition, its apochromatic design reduces axial chromatic aberration down to almost zero. This manual focus lens has a precision helicoid for smooth, precise focusing action and is designed for use with rangefinder-linked digital and film cameras. it features 10 diaphragm blades that becomes circular at the fully open f/2.8 aperture as well as at f/4 and f/22 aperture, thus providing a creamy bokeh that is especially complementary for its portraiture-suited 90mm focal length. The circular bokeh shape can create cinematic flares known as "ball blur" by pointing towards a point light source. Constructed with highly rigid and full-metal lens barrel for durability, this lens is also compact and lightweight. Well-designed, it does not protrude into the viewfinder frame when used on a rangefinder camera. The included lens hood complements the lenss portability as it can be reverse mounted for easy storage or transportation.A front cap and rear cap are also supplied with the lens.
