The Voigtlander Nokton 50mm f/1.0 Aspherical VM is a compact and lightweight standard lens with a Leica-M mount and excellent imaging performance. Its very large f/1.0 aperture supports working in diffcult light conditions and great control over depth of field. Optically, a high refractive index front glass elements and an aspherical element in the rear contributes to high quality imagery and its compact form. Additionally, a floating elements design ensures a specific group of lenses is moved to the optimal position, base on shooting distance, to achieve images that are clear and sharp at all times. A 12-blade diaphragm provides for a very natural bokeh. A lens hood, which can be attached upside down on the lens for easy transportation and storage when not in use, is supplied with the lens. The versatile, high quality lens can also be used with Sony E-mount, Fujifilm X-mount, and Nikon Z-mount digital cameras via appropriate adapters.
