The Samyang AF 135mm f/1.8 FE is a sleek-looking lightweight telephoto prime lens designed to provide full-frame Sony E-mount mirrorless cameras with a wide 24mm perspective, as well as a 202.55mm equivalent focal length when used on an APS-C camera body. A bright f/1.8 maximum aperture support working in dimmer conditions and offers better control over depth of field during selective focus applications. Additionally, the AF 135mm f/1.8 lens features an astro-focus mode to suit astrophotography while a focus limiter switch aids faster focusing by allowing you to constrain focusing to two different ranges, from 0.69m to 2m to suit closeup shooting or from 1.5m to infinity for standard shooting. There is also a custom switch for control over select exposure or shooting functions. This weather-sealed lens is designed with a rounded eleven-blade diaphragm that contributes to a pleasing out-of-focus quality when using selective focus or shallow depth of field techniques. A lens hood is provided to help block stray light from causing flare and ghosting.
