The Samyang AF 12mm f/2 Lens for Fujifilm X-Mount is an autofocus wide-angle prime lens with a 35mm equivalent focal length of 18mm, designed specifically for use with Fujifilm X-mount APS-C format image sensors. With a fast maximum aperture of f/2 it is well-suited to working in low-light conditions, and is ideal for photographing architecture, indoor and landscapes. A seven-blade aperture helps produce a pleasant bokeh quality. Optically, it features one aspherical element, one hybrid-aspherical element, and three extra-low dispersion elements to minimise aberrations and distortion for improved sharpness and clarity. An Ultra Multi-Coating has also been applied to the lens elements to reduce surface reflections and prevent lens flare and ghosting, thus increasing contrast and improving colour fidelity. Complementing the optics, the linear STM autoofocus motor provides quick, quiet autofocus. A custom function switch and a focus hold button are incorporated onto the lens barrel for optimal focus control. The lens comes supplied with front and rear lens caps, lens case and a petal-style lens hood.
