Part of the Tiny Series, the lightweight Sony FE-mount AF 35mm f/1.4 prime lens from Samyang is designed for use with full-frame Sony FE-mount mirrorless digital cameras and well suited for a variety of photographic application from shooting portrait, street photography, and even to landscape photography. Characterised by a bright maximum aperture of f/1.8 that benefits working in low light conditions and working with shallow depth of field techniques, this wide-angle lens is an all-rounder lens suitable for users such vloggers and instagrammers seeking high resolution imagery from a portable lens. Additionally, a rounded nine-blade diaphragm produces attractive out of focus areas. Optically, the lens features two aspherical elements and two high refractive elements that minimise spherical and chromatic aberrations for greater sharpness, clarity, and accurate colour. An Ultra Multi-Coating has also been applied to individual lens elements to reduce flare and ghosting for improved contrast. A newly developed Linear STM (Stepping Motor) delivers fast, quiet, and accurate autofocusing while manual focus override is also available for more refined control. For added user customisation, a custom switch can be utilised for selecting various functions such as Aperture control mode, or shooting functions such as aperture selection to suit your personal preference. Weather sealing protects your lens outdoors from dust, light rain and snow. A lens hood, and front and rear lens caps are also included.
