The Hasselblad 907X 50C is a modular medium format camera system, which combines a CFV II 50C digital back with a 907X camera body. The 907X body itself is distinctive as the smallest and lightest medium format camera created by Hasselblad thus far, and its form recalls that of the famed 500-series V-system cameras. This simple camera body functions mainly as the interface between the V interface of the CFV II 50C digital back and the X-mount, which permits working with XCD lenses or adapted lenses from other mounts. Updated and refined, the CFV II 50C digital back features a classic V-system interface that is compatible with the included 907X and virtually any Hasselblad V camera from 1957 onwards. A generously-sized 43.8 x 32.9mm 50MP CMOS is at the core of this capable mirrorless camera, delivering high-resolution imagery with a vivid 16-bit colour depth, an extremely wide 14-stop dynamic range, and an ISO 100-25600 sensitivity range. The sensor works with the Hasselblad Natural Color Solution to consistently deliver images with natural, lifelike colour tones. Along with 16-bit colour depth, this system is capable of achieving images with impressively smooth tonal transitiions.
At its rear, the CFV II 50C design features a 3.2" 2.4m-dot tilting touchscreen LCD that reinforces a top-down viewing position redolent of working with an optical waist-level finder. This updated screen features a fast 60 fps refresh rate for a smoother playblack and autofocus point drag-and-drop, as well as autofocus point size adjustment, for more intuitive focusing Maintaining the overall svelte profile reminiscent of A12 and A16 film backs, this digital back accepts one rechargeable lithium-ion battery internally; the battery can be convieniently charged in-back via the USB Type-C port. Built-in Wi-Fi enables wireless remote control and file transferring via Phocus Mobile 2 while an integrated GPS module enables recording location details to image files for geotagging. Dual SD memory card slots compatible for UHS-II protocol are integrated for faster read/write speeds, along with a USB 3.0 Type-C Connector for transferring files, tethered shooting from an iPad, or connecting to a computer, charger, or power bank for in-camera battery charging.
