This fast autofocus lens is not only suitable for working in low-light conditions, it is affords notable control over depth of field for working with selective focus techniques. Furthermore, this lens offers three modes of Optical Image Stabilisation with up to 5.5 stops of shake correction to deliver sharp imagery whether shooting handheld or while the camera is mounted on a monopod. Thanks to the circular nine-blade aperture, a beautiful bokeh is afforded at smaller lens apertures. Super Spectra coating and Air Sphere Coating are applied to reduce ghosting and flare, especially when working in harsh lighting, while a flourine coating on the front element helps prevent buildup of dust, moisture and fingerprints. To aid with focusing, two focus presets which allows you to instantly return to one or two memorised focus distances are available. In addition, a customisable electronic focus ring permits manual focusing during SERVO AF. This lens is compatible with Canon RF 1.4x and 2x extenders. The RF400mm f/2.8L IS USM comes supplied with a lens hood, a lens cap, a dust cap, a drop-in screw filter holder 52 (WIII) with protector filter, a wide lens strap and a soft lens case.
