The 12-100mm f/4 IS ED PRO lens from Olympus is a zoom lens designed for use with Micro Four Thirds mirrorless cameras, featuring a versatile wide to telephoto 24-200mm equivalent focal length range. A constant maximum aperture of f/4 provides consistent illumination throughout the zoom range, making it a great choice for both stills and video shooting.
Optically, one double-sided aspherical element, three aspherical elements, five extra-low dispersion elements, two Super HR (high-refractive index) elements and one HR element come together to reduce chromatic and spherical aberrations and colour fringing. Five-axis Sync IS compliments the broad zoom range by compensating for up to 6.5 stops of camera shake when paired with select OM-D or PEN camera bodies, and a Movie & Stills Compatible (MSC) high-speed imager AF system provides quick, accurate, and quiet focusing performance. It is also equipped with a Manual Focus Clutch mechanism that allows for fast changing to MF for more precise control.
