Its integrated intelligent low noise, temperature-activated fan aids in keeping the head cool while lengthening the life of the flash tube. This fan works together with a cleverly engineered airflow design to handle heavy workloads.
The ELC 500 is built to acclimate to your lighting needs, with power that varies continuously over 7 stops from 7 to 522Ws. A 20W proportional LED modelling lamp enables you to preview lighting effects. Beside triggering with a sync cord, the built-in 20 channel radio receiver permits wireless adjustments to power, the modeling lamp, and others at distances up to 200m. Moreoever, Elimchrom's Skyport radio frequency system is compatible with seven camera brands. A separately available EL Skyport Transmitter Pro enables the TTL control of the light by these major camera brands. Even non-Elinchrom units and speedlights can be integrated into the wireless setup by using the Elinchrom Skyport Receiver Plus.
