The NiSi 100mm V7 Professional Kit features the new edition NiSI V7 Holder and a comprehensive host of filters and accessories to ensure landscape and seascape photographers have everything they need to get started with this 100mm filter holder system. This Kit includes the V7 Filter Holder, the new 86mm True Colour CPL, a 82mm Main Adapter and three Adapter Rings - 67mm, 72mm and 77mm, seven filters - one Medium 0.9 Graduated ND filter, one Soft 0.9 Graduated ND filter, one Reverse 0.9 (3-Stop) Graduated ND filter, one IR ND 0.9 (3-Stop) filter, one IR ND 1.8 (6-Stop) filter, one IR ND 3.0 (10-Stop) filter, and one IR ND 3.0 (10-Stop) filter, a Caddy, V7 Lens Cap, a Clever Cleaner, a cleaning cloth and an air blower. The NiSi V7 100mm Filter Holder Kit is the fruit of responding to the feedback of end users. Its aviation-grade aluminium construction is CNC-machined with a single element processsing for precision and durability and finished in frosted matte black to minimise reflections. The filter holder can hold up to three 100mm wide, 2mm thick filters, along with the included NiSi True Color Circular Polarizer (CPL) Filter. The CPL can be rotated independently while the filters are in place via a cog on the rear of the filter holder. Also, when used at 16mm with wide-angle lenses on full-frame, there is no vignetting. The new NiSi True Color CPL included in this kit prevents yellow cast that can be introduced from many CPLs. Its NiSi Pro Nano Coating helps to reduce unwanted reflections as well as provide waterproof and oil-resistant layer that makes keep the lens clear easy. Aided by the new Point to Point CPL Design, the CPL can be installed with no trouble into the the main 82mm adapter . Simply align the white marker on the CPL with those on the main adapter before twisting it to secure in position. A push on lens cap is supplied with the kit to protect the True Color CPL while it is still attached to the lens. The 82mm main adapter is screwed directed onto the lenses with 82mm front filter threads for attaching V7 filter holder. Three step-up adapter rings are included in this kit to facilitate mounting the 82mm main adapter on wide-angle lenses with 67mm, 72mm, and 77mm front filter treads respectively. Additionallly, step-up rings for lenses with 49mm, 52mm, 55mm, 58mm, or 62mm front filter threads are separately available. Once the V7 filter holder is mounted, you can insert the filters easily via the unique clip system which is designed to grip along the edges of the filters without contacting the surface of the filter. This allows for easy sliding of graduated filters up and down within a filter slot, such as the 100x150mm multi-coated medium 0.9 (3-stop) Graduated ND Filter, the 100x150mm multi-coated Soft 0.9 Graduated ND filter, and the 100x150mm multi-coated Reverse 0.9 (3-Stop) Graduated ND filter included in this kit. The rectangular medium GND filter is the densest on one edge, transisting wih a medium-edge line in the middle and then tapering to clear on the opposite edge. It is ideal for shooting in bright skylight and even shortly after sunrise and before sunset. The Soft GND is designed similar to the medium GND, except that the middle transition portion of the Medium GND filter is 40% smaller than that of the Soft GND filter. The Soft GNDs soft-edged line transition is particularly useful for images with features like trees, buildings and mountains that protrude into the skyline The Reverse 0.9 (3-Stop) GND filter, on the other hand, is darkest in the middle area and gradually becomes clearer to the top edge. Its lower part is clear. This combination renders the GND filter ideal for shooting when the sun is at the horizon at sunset and sunrise. A 100x100mm nano multi-coated IR ND 0.9 3-stop filter, a 100x100mm nano multi-coated IR ND 1.8 6-stop filter, a 100x100mm nano multi-coated IR ND 3.0 10-stop filter and a 100x100mm nano multi-coated IR ND 3.0 10-stop filter are also supplied by the kit to uniformly block 3 stops, 6 stops, 10 stops and 15 stops of light respectively, enabling photographers to prolong exposures for greater motion blurring and image detail or reduce contrast between the highlights and shadows for a better quality exposure. The range of light-blocking stops provided by these four filters allows the photographer to work with different lengths of exposure times, depending on the subject and the brightness of the light. Furthermore, the quality optical glass NiSi ND filters each has a nano-coating to prevent loss of detail and an infrared protection coating layer to eliminate the infrared light through the lens for colour accuracy. To store and transport your NiSi 100mm system, the NiSi Caddy 100mm Filter Pouch is included. It can hold up to 4 100x100mm filters and 5 x 100x150mm filters. Or, if use the first slot to hold the V7 Filter holder, it can hold up to 8 other filters. This lightweight case is small enough at 19 x 13.5 x 8cm to fit into most bags, be conveniently mounted on a tripod leg for easy access, or carried as a shoulder bag, messenger bag or waist bag using its adjustable cross-body sling strap. The bags flip-top design means the pouch can be kept open when in use.
