The Multi-Function Handgrip for the S-Camera from Leica does two things; firstly, it facilitates an extra battery to double the S2s battery life and, secondly, improves handling during vertical shooting. For the latter, it features a vertical shutter release and a click wheel, so that the cameras primary controls are always close at hand. The grip features an easily accessible on/off switch and both 1/4 x 20 and 3/8 mounts for tripod shooters. In addition, Leica has a built-in anti-twist system to hold the camera steady while working.
