The base plate mount allows you to mount your Hoodloupe to your DSLR. Attach you hoodloupe (not included with mount) to the bracket and screw the 1/4"-20 adaptor into the loupe. You can move the the loupe closer or further away from your screen by turning the gold knob. Other features include two places to attach straps to the base plate, compatible with either a hand strap or sling strap.
