This GK1545T-82TQD Series 1 Traveler Carbon Fiber Tripod with Center Ball Head Kit from Gitzo is a 4-section compact and lightweight Carbon eXact tripod with an Arca-type compatible ball head. Its four-section legs are secured with twist locks featuring Traveler G-lock, a pared-down version of Gitzos G-lock, specifically designed for the Traveler tripods to reduce overall size. For easy transport the legs fold around the center column and ball head to offer a folded length of just 42.42cm, and a shoulder strap is included for easy carrying. Re-designed space-saving rubber feet can be easily replaced if they are worn out. Included with the tripod is the Series 1 Centre Ball Head, with a separate lock for the 360° panning and another to control the movement of the ball. A tungsten disulfide coating on the ball keeps movement smooth and minimizes stick-slip. A screw-knob lock tightens down on the included quick-release plate and a bubble level helps you maintain straight horizons in your images. To allow for precise adjustments, a friction control dial is integrated into the large locking knob.
