This Lee Filters Hard Grad Set is compatible with both film and digital photography. Generally hard grads are best used on images with a straight horizon line or hard transition between the sky and foreground. 0.3ND - provides 1 stop, 0.6ND 2 stops and 0.9ND will give 3 stops. All Lee NDs are meticulously hand-dyed each filter represents up to an hour of skilled work, as they are dipped in and out of baths of dye and results continuously monitored.
