The ClassicBall 5 II Ball Head from Novoflex is a versatile gear support that can be used as a standard ball head, as well as a levelling base for panoramic photography. It is capable of supporting loads of up to 12kg, and weighs 970 g. For use as a panning base the head should simply be mounted upside down, enabling the mounting base to be levelled using the ball and built-in bubble level. The head uses a matte titanium finish and all-metal design with integrated 360° panning and 2 camera threads (1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16). Three 90° notches allow the camera to tilt 180° in three separate positions, and an AFC (Advanced Friction Control) system allows for easy adjustment of the ball tension. Its grease-and-lubricant-free design prevents the ball and enclosure from attracting unwanted dust, dirt, and debris.
