The Canon 8x20 IS Image-Stabilised Binoculars are compact, versatile and powerful binoculars that have borrowed on the Lens Shift Image Stabilisation technology from Canons EF lenses and built on the success of their larger IS binoculars. The Lens Shift Image Stabilisation incorporates a continually adjusting vibration gyro mechanism that move the IS lens vertically and horizontally, which cancels possible shaking made by movement and vibration. This render the lightweight binoculars capable of compensating for hand-shake while you bird-watch, nature-watch, or follow a sporting event. Additionally, you can choose between the Normal or Powered IS options for the right mode to deliver the best possible performance, depending whether the subject is still or moving. A simple push button offers up to 5mins of continuous operation. When not in IS modes, the binoculars operate as a conventional pair would. The image stabilisation performance is complimented by a series of optical features that further improves overall image quality. Application of Canons antireflection broadband Super Spectra Coating reduces light loss and improve image contrast across the entire visual spectrum while a field flattener corrects spherical aberration for distortion-free views. A Porro prism optical path provides a rich depth of field that helps you to judge distance between objects more accurately as well as deliver a wider field of view than similar roof prism models. Requiring a single CR123 battery (supplied), this compact and lightweight binoculars is designed for portability and ease-of-use. The binoculars feature a protective rubber armour for a slip-resistant grip and comes supplied with an ocular rainguard, case and strap.
