A versatile wide-angle zoom, the GF 32-64mm f/4 R LM WR from Fujifilm is a 25-51mm equivalent lens for the G-mount GFX camera system. With a focal length range covering wide-angle to normal-length perspectives and a constant f/4 maximum aperture for consistent performance throughout the zoom range, it is well-suited to a variety of applications. The optical system features a construction of 11 groups and 14 elements; each using one of the three types of lens elements, aspheric lens, ED lens and super ED lens, including the large aperture high precision aperture lens, to reduce chromatic and spherical aberrations throughout the zoom range for improved clarity and colour accuracy. Featuring a rounded nine-blade diaphragm, it produces smooth out of focus areas. An internal focusing mechanism is controlled by a linear AF motor for fast, near-silent focusing performance, and a flourine coating has been applied to the front element to repel moisture. This is complimented by a dust-, freeze-, and weather-resistant construction for piece of mind when working in changeable conditions. It also features a manual aperture ring for intuitive adjustment of exposure settings, and a C (Command) position can also be set for camera-based aperture setting.
