The EF 11-24mm f/4L USM Lens from Canon is a versatile wide-angle zoom with a constant f/4 maximum aperture. As a part of Canon's L-series it is designed for your full-frame EOS DSLR. It features one Super UD element and one UD element which work to reduce chromatic aberration while four aspherical elements minimize distortions throughout the zoom range for edge-to-edge sharpness. SWC and ASC coatings of the elements reduce lens flare and ghosting for sharp contrast and colours. A ring-type Ultrasonic Motor adds to this with fast near-silent autofocus, with full-time manual focus and an internal focusing design. Lastly it is dust and water-resistant, with fluorine coatings on both the front and rear elements to protect against smudges which can affect image quality.
With its ultra-wide to wide-angle perspective it is well-suited to landscape and architectural photography.
