Offering a moderate 8x power magnification with a generous field of view of 113m at 1000m, the Leica 8x20 Ultravid BR Binoculars is designed to be easy to use and comes in a compact and lightweight form. With a design combination of phase-corrected BAK4 roof prisms, HighLux system, and HDC fully multi-coated optics, the binoculars delivers bright and clear colour-neutral images. The HDC coatings contributes to abrasion resistance for added exterior lens surfaces protection while hydrophobic AquaDua coatings renders the lenses easier to clean and remove any dirt, grime, oils, sap, or fingerprints that can interfere with the viewing. With a 1.8 minimum focus distance, you can view flora and fauna upclose for detailed observations.

The dual-hinge system of the binoculars allows them to fold and tuck under the closed bridge into a very compact form, rendering them easy to fit into a pocket, pack, or purse; the system also provides a wide interpupillary distance adjustment for narrower faces such as children and adolescents might have. Constructed of aluminium alloy, the chassis is lightweight and wrapped in matte-black rubber armour that provides a comfortable slip-resistant grip ideal for those cold and wet days. In addition, the Ultravid BR are O-ring sealed to be waterproof and submersible to a depth of 5m.
