The perfect balance between a compact and full size binocular, the 10x32 Trinovid HD from Leica enjoys the performance of the latter, and the easy portability of the former without sacrifice. The Trinovid uses P40 phase corrected prisms treated with Leicas HighLux system to limit internal light diffraction and eliminate interference for improved clarity, sharpness, and contrast. The objective lenses are fully multi-coated with Leicas HDC coatings for maximum light transmission through the optical path. Together these coatings provide a high-contrast image with true colour, sharp contrast, and minimal distortion. This optical performance is coupled with a powerful 10x magnification and short 1 metre minimum focus distance, ideal for viewing small birds, bugs, butterflies, and insects. These impressive optics are housed inside a robust, lightweight aluminum-alloy body, finished with a black textured rubber coating that offers protection from accidental bumps and provides a slip-resistant grip. This is complimented by nitrogen-filled and O-ring sealed optical tubes, making the binocular waterproof, submersible, and fogproof when alternating between extreme temperatures. A wide interpupillary adjustment range, generous ±4 dioptric correction, long 16mm eye relief, and four-position click-stop eyecups ensures easy and comfortable use by most people.
