This Ultron Vintage Line 35mm f/2 Aspherical Type II from Voigtlander retains the same sharp optics and fast manual focus, and is designed for use with Voigtlander's Bessa cameras, as well as Leica's M rangefinders. As part of what Leica is calling its Vintage Line the slim lens is styled with a classic 1970s-inspired rangefinder style and paint scheme that is well-matched to classic range rangefinder camera designs. Featuring a maximum aperture of f/2, it is capable of working in difficult lighting situations and offers greater control when using selective focus application; meanwhile, the physical size of the lens has been kept small.

The all-metal brass body holds eight elements in five groups to deliver exceptional image quality starting from a minimum focusing distance of 58 cm. One aspherical element is used in the optical design, and helps to reduce spherical aberrations and distortions. Sporting a manual focus design, the lens is capable of focusing at 58cm for close-up subjects. It also rangefinder coupled for accurate focusing to 0.7m. An updated focusing tab that is easy to grip further affords fast and accurate focusing, making it ideal for street photography. This is complimented by a 10 bladed diaphragm for producing smooth out-of-focus areas.

Front and rear lens caps are supplied with the lens. This lens is compatible with the separately available LH-12 lens hood.
