AF 50mm f/1.8D
Standard-Length Prime Lens
The AF NIKKOR 50mm f/1.8D lens from Nikon is a lightweight standard length prime lens that is compatible with FX and DX-format DSLRs, where it will offer a 35mm equivalent focal length of 75mm. Featuring a maximum aperture of f/1.8, it is well suited to working in low light conditions and with shallow depth of field techniques.
It uses Nikon's Super Integrated Lens Coating for improved light transmission, with reduced ghosting and flare. An integrated aperture control ring enables manual exposure control in addition to AE control, and for programmed auto or shutter-priority auto exposure shooting, the minimum aperture lock lever can be used to lock the lens aperture at f/22.
Please note that autofocus is not supported by some camera models including the D40, D40x, D60, D3000, D3100, D3200, D3300, D5000, D5100, D5200 and D5300. With these models the lens may be used with manual focus only. Be sure to check your camera's lens compatibility before picking your new lens.
