X1D II 50C
Medium Format Mirrorless Camera Body
The Hasselblad X1D II 50C is a second generation X System medium format mirrorless camera body that boasts revised and enhanced features for faster performance and more intuitive and streamlined overall operation.
A generously-sized 43.8 x 32.9mm 50MP CMOS remains at the core of this capable mirrorless camera, delivering high-resolution imagery with a vivid 16-bit colour depth, an extremely wide 14-stop dynamic range, and an ISO 100-25600 sensitivity range. The sensor works with the Hasselblad Natural Color Solution to consistently deliver images with natural, lifelike colour tones. Along with 16-bit colour depth, this system is capable of achieving images with impressively smooth tonal transitiions. The electronic platform receives an update that enables a faster 2.7fps continuous shooting rate, a 46% faster start up time, minimised shutter lag and blackout times, and a more responsive autofocusing.
Complementing the imaging attributes and its updates, the body of the X1D II is also upated with a bigger 3.6" 2.36m-dot touchscreen and a 0.87x-magnification 3.39-dot OLED electronic viewfinder for easier viewing in a variety of shooting conditions. This second generation camera body retains the characteristic physique of its predecessor, sporting a smooth aluminium alloy body with a deep right-hand grip. Optimised to work with XCD lenses with leaf shutter design that affords full flash sync throughout the shutter speed range up to 1/2000sec, the lack of need for camera-based shutter system contributes to the X1D II's slender and lightweight form. Built-in Wi-Fi enables wireless remote control and file transferring via Phocus Mobile 2 while an integrated GPS module enables recording location details to image files for geotagging. Dual SD memory card slots compatible for UHS-II protocol are integrated for faster read/write speeds, along with a USB 3.0 Type-C Connector for transferring files, tethered shooting from an iPad, or connecting to a computer, charger, or power bank for in-camera battery charging.
