The Light Storm LS 300x LED Light Kit with V-mount Battery Plate is built around Light Storm LS 300x Aputure light which combines Aputure's dual-colour LED chipset with the latest optical colour-blending technology, thus offering impressive flexibility in a single LED fixture. By utilising the expanded vari-white CCT range of 2700-6500K, this light provides warmer tungsten tones on one hand, and cooler than daylight whites on the other hand. Futhermore, this light boasts a highly-efficient light output at CRI 95, TLCI 98, and higher than industry standard SS1 85, and D55-SSI 74 ratings, which means colours and skin tones are reproduced with marked degree of accuracy. In addition, the light, which offers four dimming modes, can be adjusted across the dimming range, flicker free.

Catering for easy and repeatable setups locally, a Controller Box with intuitive local controls and a bright LCD display is attached to the LS300S head with a 3m head extension cable. Wireless control of the output is also possible via the included 2.4 GHz wireless remote, or by integrating the light into a DMZ netowrk via the 5-pin XLR in/out ports. Thanks to Aputure's integrated Sidus Mesh network chipset, all the 300X's functions may be controlled by the free-to-download Sidus Link app.

This impressive versatile light also offers two output modes: Constant Output Mode allows precise CCT adjustment while maintaining constant luminance as well afford seamless colour temperature shift during a scene; Max Output Mode maximises CCT and dimming levels within the 4000-5500K range. Five common CCT presets - 2700K, 3200K, 4200K, 5500K, 6500K - are also available to speed up setting. There are also nine customisable built-on lighting effects to choose from. Otherwise, an integrated Bowens-S mount means the light is compatible with a vast range of modifiers to suit any application or creative vision.

The V-mount plate enables the self-regulating, multi-voltage controller to operate using single or dual V-mount batteries, rendering it suitable for operation in remote locations. Besides the Aputure LS300X LED light with V-mount Battery Plate and its Control Box, a Quick-release Lightning Clamp, a 55° Hyper-Reflector, a 6m Neutrik powerCON AC Power Cable, a 3m 5-Pin Male-to-Female XLR Head Cable, a Cable Relief Hook, and a Carrying Case are all included in this kit.
