The US-A3 Umbrella Swivel for Off-Camera Flash from Phottix is a smart way to get the most out of your on-camera flash when working off-camera. The swivel features a ball head topped with a cold shoe with knurled tightening knob to secure your flash, and also accepts umbrella shafts up to 8mm in diameter. This allows you to position your flash exactly as desired, and makes it simple to add a light modifier. The base is finished with a 3/8"-16 female thread for mounting on a light stand or other accessory, and a 1/4"-20 adapter is also provided in case the stand is topped with 1/4"-20 male thread. Lastly, a cold shoe with a foot is included for shoe mounting on a camera or a flash bracket.
