Featuring enhanced strength at key points and an all metal construction, the Rotalux Speedring for Elinchrom Flash Heads from Elinchrom provides the key to using your go-to flash heads with Rotalux softboxes. The speedring offers fast setup and is compatible with rectangular softboxes, octaboxes, stripboxes, square softboxes, and octa softboxes via color coded sockets.
Developed in response to feedback from working photographers, the Rotalux speedrings have been strengthened in specific spots to ensure that any moveable parts will withstand the hard stresses caused by repeated assembly and disassembly.
The Rotalux speedring design has also been consolidated to one ring that all 11 Rotalux shapes can be built off of. Colored indicators have been added at all mount points to guide users quickly and easily through set up. All guess work has been eliminated because red marks indicate the appropriate mount points for strip boxes: blue indicates mount points for square, and octas have no specific color because they utilize all mount points.
Softboxes and Rotalux speedrings are purchased separately. This allows you to customize the desired light modifier to whatever lighting system you currently own without incurring any extra cost.
