The LEM/LER-II Leica R Lens to Leica M-Mount Adapter from Novoflex allows a Leica R lens to be mounted to your Leica M type camera. It does not transfer fuctions from the camera to the lens, such as auto focus, but automatic exposure metering (stop-down metering/aperture priority) is possible.

The current version of this adapter comes with a special 6-bit marking on the camera side to bring up the Leica R-lenses menu in your Leica M 240 digital camera.
