Full-frame Canon EF-Mount Lens to Micro Four Thirds-Mount Speed Booster
The Metabones T Speed Booster XL 0.64x Adapter for Full-Frame Canon EF-Mount Lens to Select Micro Four Thirds-Mount Cameras allows you to mount your full-frame Canon EF lenses to Micro Four Thirds-mount cameras. Mounting a full-frame lens to a camera with a Micro Four Thirds-sized sensor will project an image larger than the Micro Four Thirds sensor and therefore the camera will capture only the centre of the projected image. This means the effective angle of view of the attached full-frame lens will be narrowed, creating an in-camera "crop factor". It will also provide the Micro Four Thirds sensor with additional light to give a 1.3 stop increase to each of the lens's f/stop settings.
The adapter supports electronic communication between the attached camera and lens. Features such as autofocus, image stabilisation, and camera-controlled aperture functions will continue to operate. The adapter will also allow EXIF metadata to be recorded where available.
Constructed from robust aluminium alloy, the adapter uses brass mounting rings for durability. Inside, it uses six lens elements in four groups to ensure a high degree of clarity and accurate colour. The adapter comes with a detachable tripod foot that features 3/8" threads and is compatible with Arca-Swiss tripod heads.
This adapter is compatible with the Panasonic DMC-GH4, GH3, G3, G5, G6, G10, GF3, GF5, GF6, and GX1 Mirrorless Micro Four Thirds Digital Cameras; the Olympus PEN E-PL7 Mirrorless Micro Four Thirds Digital Camera; the Blackmagic Cinema Camera with Micro Four Thirds mount; and the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera.
