Sony has created the versatile, robust and compact RX0 II Premium Tiny Tough Camera to perform impressively for both still shots and video in truly tough conditions.

The pairing of a 15.3MP 1"Exmor RS stacked CMOS sensor and BiONZ X image processor provides for high quality images. The stacked architecture and dedicated DRAM chip of the moderately large 1"-type sensor proficiently increases processing speed and improve performance. The BIONZ X processor, on the other hand, features sensitivities up to ISO 12800 which enables working in low conditions, as well as continuous shooting at 16 fps and support of Eye AF in select modes.

Equally well equipped as a video camera, the RX0 II features internal UHD 4K30 video and Picture Profile which includes the advanced S-Log2 gamma. Clean and uncompressed 4:2:2 4K HDMI output from the camera is available via a micro-HDMI port while improved audio capture is enabled by the 3.5mm microphone input for audio equipment connection. The RX0 II also features electronic image stablisation for steady handheld footage, Options are abound to capture Full HD videos at up to 120 fps, or use the High Frame Rate (HFR) Mode for ultra slow-motion ones at up to 960 fps in NTSC or 1000 fps in PAL. Furthermore, interval recording is available for creating time-lapse movies.

A ZEISS Tessar T* 24mm equivalent f/4 lens complements the imaging system to reduce distortion, improve sharpness, and achieve a minimum focus distance of just 20cm. The Clear Image Zoom provides for a 2x digital zoom at minimal quality loss. Ghosting and flare are controlled well while water droplets and dust are easily cleaned from a coated body front.

Waterproof to 10m, crushproof to 200kg, shockproof to 2m and even dustproof, the RX0 II is the ideal camera to take along to capture action on the go or in adverse conditions. A 1.5" 230k-dot 180° tilting LCD improves its versatility for selfies and vlogging. Additionally, the camera features advanced connectivity options - built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth provide for transferring images from multiple cameras simultaneously to a mobile device via the Imaging Edge Mobile App. Optional accessories enables the RX0 II to be set up in advanced configurations with up to 100 cameras.

Included in this kit is the lightweight VCT-SGR1 Grip designed by Sony that serves as both a larger grip apt for handheld shooting or an instant tabletop tripod. This grip attaches itself to the RX0 II (and other select Sony cameras) via the 1/4"-20 tripod mount. Connection to the camera via the multi terminal enables on-grip control which features integrated shutter release, video record buttons and a zoom rocker switch. The grip provides for easier positioning from an upward tilt of 70° to a downward tilt of 100°.
