The Panasonic Lumix BS1H Box Cinema Camera is a compact and lightweight modular digital cinema camera with a 24.2MO full-frame sensor, a Venus Engine, a Leica L lens mount, a wide 14+ stop dynamic range, anamorphic support, advcanced autofocus, Hybrid Log-Gamma colour support, and a dual-native ISO ranging from 100-51200 and 50 to 204800 respectively that all comes together to deliver high performace. Versatile and suitable for use with cine drones, in remote setups, and expandable for cine work as well as multi-camera broadcast work, the BS1H features timelock and genlock BNC ports, RJ45 Gigabit LAN port, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth functionality, and a USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C input which allows you to control the camera with the LUMIX Tether app to capture still images and control up to 12 BS1H cameras. Recording video with resolutions up to 5.9K as well as C4K and UHD4K, the BS1H is capable of recording footage in multiple ways to high data rate files in the ALL-Intra, LongGOP, MOV, and MP4 recording formats with H.264 and H.265/HEVC codecs. It also compatible with Cinema VariCam Look workflows, supports unlimited recording time and permits 10-bit 4:2:2 video recording via the camera's sdual SD card slots. With the ability to output via HDMI and SDI simultaneously, you can use one signal for monitoring and the other for recording. It can also record at variable frame rates for high-quality, slow-motion video.

Audio-wise, the camera features a high-grade 48 kHz/24-bit LPCM format, an integrated stereo microphone, a 3.5mm mic/line-level input, and a 3.5mm headphone output. Connection to a professional microphone is possible via an optional DMW-XLR1 XLR adapter. Some other features includes an internal fan that maintains the camera cool during long shoots, 9 accessory mounting threads for mounting onto a plate, cage, or tripod mount, four user-prgrammable function buttons and tally lights on the front and rear. This camera comes supplied with an AC power adapter, AC cable, cable lock band, body cap, hot shoe cover, audio terminal cover, DC In terminal cover, BNC terminal cover, HDMI terminal cover, and a remote terminal cover.
