The Tamron 35-150mm f/2.8-4 Di VC OSD is a wide to medium telephoto zoom lens designed for full frame Canon EF-mount cameras; moreover, it works with APS-C models where it provides an equivalent focal length range of 56 - 240mm. Ideal for a range of portraiture shots, the flexible zoom features a bright f/2.8-4 maximum aperture range that also suits working in a variety of lighting conditions and improved depth of field control. Optically, the lens utilises a combination of low dispersion (LD) glass elements and aspherical elements to reduce colour fringing, saggital coma flare, and spherical and chromatic aberrations for increased edge to edge sharpness, clarity and colour accuracy throughout the zoom range.

The optics performance of this 35-150mm lens is complemented by an Optimised Silent Drive (OSD) motor and a Dual Micro-Processing Unit (MPU) system in the physical design to deliver an almost slient, quick and accurate autofocusing performance. The lens also offers a minimum focusing distance of 45mm through the entire zoom range for capturing close-ups at any focal length. Application of Tamron's proprietary anti-reflecting BBAR Coating on the glass elements significantly reduces ghosting and flare that results from backlight conditions for a sharper portrait. An integrated Vibration Compensation (VC) image stabilisation in the lens design reduces the appearance of camera shake to provide for sharper imagery captured by handheld shooting in dimmer conditions. A flourine coating and moisture-resistant construction works to protect your lens when working outdoors.
