The Singh-Ray 100 x 150mm Galen Rowell Graduated Neutral Density 0.9 Soft Edge Filter is designed to balance exposures and produce imagery with increased highlight and shadow detail. As a graduated neutral density(ND) filter, its highest 0.9, 3-stop density begins at the edge of the filter, which then tapers gradually to clear by the middle of the filter. In addition, with a soft-edge transition between density and clear parts of the filter, it is well-suited for scenes with large bright areas and a indistinct or uneven horizon or line between the light and shadow. It is also ideal for use with a wide-angle lens. The filter's optical resin construction is durable and contributes to high clarity. It is compatible with the Cokin Z-Pro filter holder.
