100mm Filter Kit with V6 Holder and Landscape CPL

The NiSi 100mm Starter Kit Plus Third Generation III with V6 and Landscape CPL (circular polariser) brings together filter elements ideal for starting you off on landscape and seascape photography. Beginning with the inclusion of NiSi's V6 100mm Filter Holder that comes with four adapter rings - 67mm, 72mm, 77mm, and 82mm to enable working with a multitude of wide angle lenses, the kit also contains the ultra-slim 86mm Enhanced Landscape CPL, 2 ND filters, and 2 GND filters.

The aviation-grade aluminium V6 100 Holder supports up to 3 100mm filters, as well as a CPL filter which can be independently rotated via a cog on the back of the holder for optimising the effects of the CPL. The V6 has no vignetting when shooting with a full frame 16mm wide angle lens and is finished in frosted matte black to reduce reflection.

The included Enhanced Landscape CPL Filter is an 86mm Pro CPL with a thin frame that works exclusively with the NiSi 100mm V5/ V5 Pro/ V6 hHolders. Made from high quailty optical glass with nano coating, it preserves every bit of detail and improves saturation in landscape images.

Two ND (Neutral Density) filters are included in the kit - ND64 6 stop, and ND1000 10 stop. Designed to reduce the amount of light entering the lens, ND filters can enable greater motion blurring and image detail by allowing a large aperture and a slow shutter speed.

Additionally, there are two GND (Graduated Neutral Density) Filters in the kit - Medium GND (3 Stop) and Reverse GND. The rectangular Medium GND Filter (3 Stop) is densest at the edge, graduating to clear in the middle, with a medium edge transition line between the dense and clear areas. As such, this filter is helpful in darkening certain areas of the an image where it might be too bright while leaving the rest of the image unaffected. A GND with a medium-edge line of transition is especially suitable for images with buildings, low mountains and other elements protruding into a more harshly lit sky. When sunlight is nearer to the horizon, as is during sunset and sunrise, the NiSi Reverse GND Filter may be more appropriate. To prevent overexposure of the skyline, it is designed with the dark area in the centre and graduating to clear at the top while the bottom part is clear.

For your ease of storage and transportation, this kit comes with the NiSi 100 mmFilter Pouch PLUS for 9 Filters that can hold 4 100x100mm and 5 100x150mm NiSi 100mm system filters. This lightweight 350g pouch features an adjustable strap that allows you to carry it cross-body or over the shoulder as a messager bag, or as a waist bag. Adding to its versatility, the pouch can be mounted on a tripod leg for quick access and use. Constructed from a material that protects the filters from scratches, the pouch is also small enough at 19cm x 13.5cm x 8cm to fit comfortably into your gear bag.
