The LEE85 Polariser Filter from LEE Filters is designed to conveniently snap onto the LEE85 Filter Holder without occupying a filter slot. Set in lightweight and durable fiberglass filter frame, this circular polariser filter helps to reduce reflections and glare by filtering polarised light caused by reflection from a non-metallic surface, such as water and glass. Reducing exposure by about 1.5 stops with its 2.8x filter factor, the LEE85 Polariser Filter provides more saturated and vivid colours. Additionally, a warm cast can be added to an entire image under daylight when the filter is used on a film camera system with daylight film installed, or on a digital camera system with its daylight white balance setting selected. Rotate the filter ring to achieve the desired intensity of the polarising effect and use the filter at 90° angle to the sun for maximum effect. A padded pouch is included for safe storage and transportation of the filter.
