The LEE85 ND 0.3 Hard Grad Filter from LEE Filters is compatible with a separately available LEE Filters LEE85 Filter Holder that is suitable for both film and digital photography with compact cameras, mirrorless cameras, and mirrorless lenses. This hard grad features a density of 0.3 and provides a 1-stop light reduction in selective areas. The LEE Grad ND filters are part clear, part neutral density, and make it possible to balance the light intensity in one part of a scene with another. This hard ND Grad features a hard-edged line of transition between dense and clear areas. Generally hard grads are better suited to any image with a distinct, well-defined horizon or line between the light and shadow. They are ideal for use with a long or telephoto lens. The LEE85 graduated optical-quality resin filters measures 85mm by 115mm and are 2mm thick. The additional length allows for adjustment of the filter within the holder. They do not affect the overall colouration of the image. All LEE NDs are meticulously hand-dyed each filter represents up to an hour of skilled work, as they are dipped in and out of baths of dye and results continuously monitored. You can stack any number of NDs together with other filters, to customise your LEE filter setup for any lighting situation. A filter pouch is provided for storage and transport.
