Ultra Bright Normal Prime for Micro Four Thirds Cameras

Designed for Micro Four Thirds mirrorless cameras, the Super Nokton 29mm f/0.8 Aspherical Lens from Voigtlander is a normal-length prime lens with an equivalent focal length of 58mm, which renders it ideal for a variety of shooting applications. Of note is its impressively bright f/0.8 maximum aperture that affords shooting in very low-light conditions as well as provides impressive control over depth of field for isolating subject matter. Optically, this lens incorporates two ground aspherical elements to suppress spherical aberrations and distortion in order, thus achieving a high degree of sharpness and accurate render. Characterised by a manual focus design, the lens offers a classic appeal and fine-tuned control that enables working with subjects as close up as at 37cm. It also features a Selective Aperture Control System, offering both a stepless, silent, and smooth declicked aperture selection method and a traditional, tactile aperture control method with click stops. A 12-blade diaphragm contributes to a pleasing bokeh quality.
