The XF 16mm f/2.8 R WR from Fujifilm is a compact wide-angle prime lens, ideal for capturing landscapes and architecture with its 24mm-equivalent focal length. Featuring a maximum aperture of f/2.8, it is well-suited to working in low light conditions and with shallow depth of field techniques.

Optically the lens uses two aspherical elements to reduce distortion and spherical aberrations, and a Super EBC coating works to limit flare and ghosting for improved contrast and colour when working in bright and backlit conditions. A rounded nine-blade diaphragm contributes to a smooth bokeh quality.

This is complimented by a stepping motor and internal focusing design that ensures focusing is fast and quiet, making it well-suited to capturing both stills and video. The lens is finished with a weather-sealed design to guard against dust and moisture, for peace of mind when working in difficult conditions.
