The OM-D E-M10 Mark IV from Olympus combines a highly portable E-M10 design with impressive imaging capabilities. A 20.3MP Micro Four Thirds sensor and TruePic VIII image processor collaborate to provide UHD 4K video recording up to 30 fps, fast continuous shooting rate of up to 8.7 fps , and a wide ISO-25600 sensitivity range that suits working in varied lighting conditions. Manual focus operation is available and benefitted by the inclusion of MF assist functions, including live view magnification and focus peaking. In addition, a 5-axis sensor-shift image stabilisation contributes to sharper handheld shooting with an approximate 4.5 stops of camera shake compensation. A variety of shooting modes provide for a range of photography applications. For example, Live Composite, Live Bulb, and Live Time support long exposure shooting in different ways to suit your needs, and Interval Shooting offers exposure intervals of 1 second to 24 hour intervals for up to 999 frames. With a multitude of Art Filters, users are spoilt for choice to enhance the story an image tells, or recreate an image over and over for creativity's sake.

The impressively sleek camera sports a large 3.0" 1.04m-dot touchscreen LCD, which features a a 180° tilting design to enable working from a range of angles as well as taking selfies. Alternatively, a 2.36m-dot OLED electronic viewfinder provides for eye-level viewing. The single SD memory card slot is UHS-II compatible to support fast read/write speeds, while built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth allow wireless image sharing and remote camera control from a connected tablet or smartphone via the dedicated O.I.Share app for iOS and Android.

The accompanying M.Zuiko Digital ED 14-42mm f/3.5-5.6 EZ from Olympus is a mid-range zoom lens for Micro Four Thirds cameras and has a 35mm format equivalent focal length of 28-84mm. This zoom range is perfect for everyday photography and provides a moderate wide-angle to short telephoto perspective. Optically, the len consists of three aspherical elements to reduce optical aberrations and distortion, extra-low dispersion element to minimise chromatic aberrations, and a super high refractive index element to increase image sharpness. The lens is characterised by its Electronic Zoom (EZ) mechanism for smooth and constant zoom movements. A Movie and Still Compatible (MSC) AF-system enables quick, quiet, and precise focusing performance to benefit both video and photo applications.
